Has every name been screened, and screened again?
Every name on the register is screened against a consolidated sanctions and PEP dataset on approval, and the whole book is rescreened every week on the schedule your firm sets. A result is a list of candidates; a person at your firm records the decision on each one with a reason, and that record is append only. Changes between runs are raised as alerts.

Candidates, threshold, decision
Screening returns candidates with a score and the lists they sit on. Above the firm's threshold they wait for a reviewer; below it they are kept but not raised. The reviewer records a verdict and a reason on each candidate, and the decision carries their name and the time. Nothing is edited later; a new decision supersedes the old one.

The whole book, every week
Rescreening runs on the schedule the firm sets, weekly included, every name whether or not anything changed. Each run is logged with how many names, how many new candidates and how many delistings, and the firm's dashboard shows when the last run was and when the next is due.

Changes raised as alerts
A new candidate, a score crossing the threshold, a delisting: the difference between two runs becomes an alert with an owner. Alerts go to the MLRO and analysts as push notifications and sit in the Monitoring tab until someone records a decision, which closes the alert the same way a hit is decided.

Adverse media, judged by a person
A web search on the name returns press and public coverage, summarised so a reviewer reads faster. Each result is marked relevant or not with a note, and the note is on the file. The summary is an aid; the decision and the rating change are the reviewer's.

On the record, and in the export
The screening section of every person's verification record shows the result, the decisions on file with reviewer and time, and when the next rescreen is due. It exports in the same hashed PDF as the rest of the record, so an inspector reads the same page the MLRO does.

Questions about screening
Which lists are screened?
A consolidated sanctions and PEP dataset: UN, EU, UK, OFAC and more than two hundred further sources, including PEP lists, matched with a threshold you set. If your firm already pays for World-Check, bring it; the decisions and evidence live in Flarion either way.
Who decides whether a hit is our client?
A person at your firm. A screening result is a list of candidates, not an answer. The reviewer records a verdict and a reason against each one, and the record of who decided, when and why is append only. A later decision supersedes; nothing is edited.
How often is the book rescreened?
Weekly is included: every name, on the day and hour the firm sets. Changes since last time are raised as alerts and pushed to the MLRO and analysts. Nightly rescreening is an add-on.
What does an alert look like?
A line in the Alerts tab and a push notification: the name, what changed (a new candidate, a score that crossed the threshold, a delisting) and who owns it. Closing an alert records the decision like any other.
Is adverse media included?
Yes. A web search on the name, summarised and filed with the reviewer's judgement beside each result. The summary helps a person read faster; the decision is theirs.
