Evaluation terms.

Last updated 26 September 2026. These terms apply to a firm's evaluation and pilot use of Flarion. A firm that continues after the pilot signs a subscription agreement on the same commercial basis.

1. The parties

Flarion is provided by Islands AI Ltd, a Guernsey company, registration 74458, of 2 Market Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey GY1 1HB ("Islands AI"). The firm using it is "the firm".

2. The service

Flarion is KYC and AML compliance software hosted in Guernsey and made available to the firm at app.flarion.ai. What it does is described on this site and only what is described as live is provided. Islands AI does not approve, certify or warrant the firm's compliance: the firm's own policies, procedures and judgement determine that.

3. Fees

• £5 per name per month, with a £750 monthly minimum. A name is any person or entity the firm screens. Users are unlimited.
• Billed monthly in advance on the count of names at the start of the month.
• Identity verification and screening provider costs are bundled, with fair use of 12 identity checks per name per year. Checks beyond fair use, and add-ons the firm asks for, are quoted first and billed at the provider's cost.
• No per-seat fees. No setup fee for fiduciaries.

4. Term and ending

The subscription runs month to month. Either party may end it on 90 days' written notice at any time. On ending, Islands AI exports the firm's data to it in open formats and then removes it, save for records Islands AI must keep by law.

5. Data

The firm is the controller of the personal data it puts into Flarion; Islands AI is its processor and acts on its instructions. The privacy notice describes what is processed, by whom and for how long. The security and hosting page describes where it is held. Islands AI keeps the firm's data in Guernsey and does not use it for any purpose other than providing the service.

6. Ownership

Islands AI owns the Flarion platform, its code, design and documentation, and everything it builds during the pilot. The firm owns its data and the records Flarion produces from it. Neither party acquires rights in the other's property.

7. Availability and support

Islands AI keeps Flarion available, backed up nightly and monitored, and answers the firm from St Peter Port. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. No uptime figure is promised during evaluation.

8. Liability

Islands AI's liability to the firm in any twelve months is limited to the fees the firm paid in that period. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Guernsey and the Guernsey courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
